Overview

CoreConcept ("we", "us") operates corecocept.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and how we use it. We aim to keep collection minimal.

Information we collect

We do not require an account to read courses or articles. We do not sell personal information.

  • Usage analytics. When Google Analytics is configured, we collect aggregate usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location (from IP), device and browser type, and referral source. This helps us understand which content is useful.
  • Local storage. Course progress and similar preferences may be stored in your browser (localStorage). That data stays on your device unless you clear site data.
  • Newsletter (optional). If you join the newsletter, we collect the email address you provide for that purpose only.
  • Contact messages. If you email us, we receive whatever you send (address, subject, message body) so we can reply.

Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies may be set by us or by third-party services we use:

  • Google Analytics — measures traffic and engagement. Google may process this data under its own policies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdSense (when enabled) — if we show ads on the site, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your region and consent choices. You can learn more at How Google uses cookies for advertising.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect analytics accuracy and, when ads are present, ad relevance.

How we use information

  • Operate, improve, and secure the site
  • Understand which topics and formats help learners
  • Respond to messages you send us
  • Fund free content through advertising when AdSense or similar networks are enabled

Third-party services

Hosting and delivery may involve providers such as Vercel. Analytics and advertising may involve Google. Those providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Children's privacy

The site is intended for a general audience interested in software engineering. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
